Canadian Dental Care Plan
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal program that provides dental coverage to Canadian residents without private dental insurance and with an adjusted family net income under $90,000. Eligibility requires that individuals be Canadian residents for tax purposes, have filed a tax return in the previous year, and not have access to dental coverage through an employer, pension, or purchased plan. As of May 2025, applications are open for children under 18, adults aged 18–34, adults 55 and over, and adults 35–54 who have a valid Disability Tax Credit certificate; all other eligible adults 35–54 can apply starting May 29, 2025.
